This past month has been a particularly busy month for me and this week’s tally shows true as even though I’m spending a lot of time still watching content I love it’s mainly me gorging on 20 minute long sitcoms (i.e. Scrubs, Netflix has all the eps and I’m addicted again).
Anyways here’s my week in movies and any such things:
FIRST TIME VIEWINGS
TUCKER & DALE VS. EVIL (2011) – a film where I found myself saying “I see what you were doing there” rather than actually laughing. Predictable in it’s own genre bending way.
EXTREMELY LOUD & INCREDIBLY CLOSE (2011) – it’s very uneven and suffers from a child protagonist who at times makes scenes a lot more hokey than they need to be, but it still has a few merits to it.
REWATCHED
THE BLUES BROTHERS (1980) – “It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark… and we’re wearing sunglasses.”
SCRUBS (SEASON 4,5 & 6) – “Who’s got two thumbs and still doesn’t give a crap? Bob Kelso!”
THE COUNT
12 First time watches (0 from 2012); 10 Rewatches; 22 Total Films
